This policy explains what information www.cyberelementary.com ("Cyber Elementary," "we") collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. Cyber Elementary is operated by Baldwin Terney Press LLC, Mesa, Arizona.
Who this site is for
Cyber Elementary publishes cyber safety books, videos and articles for parents, teachers and homeschool families. Although our books are used to teach elementary students, this website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, such as an email address through our newsletter form, contact us and we will delete it.
Information you give us
- Newsletter sign-up. If you subscribe to our email list, we collect your email address (and any other details the form asks for). Our newsletter is delivered by MailerLite, which stores subscriber information on our behalf. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete your information at any time.
- Email. If you email us, we keep your message and email address so we can reply.
We do not sell or rent your personal information.
Information collected automatically
- Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how many people visit, which pages they read, how they found us, and which links they click (for example, links to Amazon or our video channel). Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technology and collects information such as your approximate location, device, browser and pages viewed. We use these reports only in aggregate to improve the site. You can learn more in how Google uses information from sites that use its services, and you can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- MailerLite. Pages with our newsletter form load MailerLite's script, which may set cookies to operate the form.
Third-party content and links
- YouTube. Our videos are embedded from YouTube using its privacy-enhanced mode, and our Videos page includes YouTube's Subscribe button. When you play a video or use the button, Google/YouTube may collect information under the Google Privacy Policy.
- Google Fonts. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives basic technical information such as your IP address.
- Amazon and other retailers. When you click a link to Amazon or another site, that site's own privacy policy applies. Amazon may use cookies to track purchases made through our affiliate links.
